Bayou LB down to the final days

River Ridge (La.) John Curtis outside linebacker Jacque Jackson has seen his recruitment take a nose dive of late after boasting an offer from UCLA at one point, but don't worry about this kid, he's still got several good options.
"I committed to Bowling Green a few weeks ago and I thought every thing was good," Jackson said. "The next day they called me and two of my other teammates who they had offered and committed and they said that they were pulling our offers. The guy recruiting us telling us we had offers all along was the guy who got in trouble at Colorado."

The 6-foot, 210-pound Jackson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and posted 35 tackles and four sacks as a senior. He also earned all-area honors as a junior and senior.
"I still have offers from Alcorn State, Southern and Air Force," Jackson said. "I took an official visit to Alcorn State this past weekend. Air Force and Southern Illinois both want me to take an official visit there this weekend and right now I am thinking about taking it to Southern Illinois."
Jackson helped lead his team to another state title as a senior.
"I am sort of leaning to Alcorn State right now," Jackson said. "I really like Air Force a lot too. I may take an official visit out there and see what it's all about, but with our country at war, that is something that I am little concerned about. It is a great program there and you can get a great education and make a lot of money when you get out of school."
