Bayou DL will attend Auburn-UGA

Mandeville (La.) Fontainebleau defensive tackle Rudy Odom is one of the most highly sought after defensive lineman in the state of Louisiana. He has an impressive list of offers and still maintains a leader.
“Everything is still the same with me really,” Odom said. “Not a whole lot has changed. I would say that Auburn is still my leader and Ole Miss, South Carolina, LSU and Tennessee are right there right behind them.”

So far this season Odom has 77 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three caused fumbles, two recovered fumbles, two safeties, four pass break-ups, four batted down balls and a blocked punt.
“I still haven’t set up any of my official visits,” Odom said. “I probably won’t do that until the season is over. This weekend I am planning on taking an unofficial visit to the Georgia-Auburn game.”
The 6-foot-5, 267-pound Odom runs the 40-yard dash in 5.08 seconds, has a 345-pound bench press and 495-pound squat.
As a junior, Odom recorded 65 tackles, five sacks, 27 hurries, 15 tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries and batted down six passes in nine games from his defensive line position.
