Baylor makes big addition in four-star WR Jacorey Watson

Baylor has pulled off a massive win in the 2025 class.

Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star and Rivals250 wide receiver Jacorey Watson has committed to the Bears.

Watson chose the Bears over Houston, Boston College, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

There was a good bit of buzz around Houston when it came to Watson's recruitment in recent months, but the Bears were able to grab the momentum following their official visit. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound wideout talked about the appeals of Baylor.

"When I was on my visit in Waco, it felt like it was home. I can be comfortable here and I can ball out. And the offense they run with the raid offense is going to be outrageous. You go out there, are able to work in space and try to get open and score and that's my goal. It's a good decision be for me to go there."

There were some key relationships on the staff in Waco that helped Watson make his decision.

"Coach (Dallas) Baker is my dog, he really made me feel comfortable. We had a one-on-one meeting and we talked about not even football really, but just family and stuff. He treated us like he wanted me and like I was one of his own sons. With me going off to a school away from home, I'm gonna need that type of father figure at that school."
