Baylor enters mix for Houston-area RB

Cypress (Texas) Ridge High School running back Hasan Lipscomb was thought to be nearing a commitment over the next few weeks, but another school has entered the Lipscomb sweepstakes.
The 5-foot-10 versatile back holds offers LSU, Iowa State, Texas A&M and Minnesota, but Baylor University officially offered this week to muddy the waters.
"I've been really busy running track, working on my grades and visiting colleges," he said. "I don't know much about Baylor but I'm going to find out about the school. I'm going to be doing some quick research on them."

Lipscomb rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 26 touchdowns last season, earning all-district honors as a junior. He is also a member of the Rams' track team, where he runs sprints and the relay teams.
"We've had a pretty good track season," he said. "We've won a few meets and our 4 x 100-meter relay team is nationally ranked."
