Baylis lands new Pac-10 offer

Evan Baylis has added an offer from Stanford and now the Aurora (Colo.) Grandview tight end is trying to figure out a time when he can get to Palo Alto to check out the campus.
It's an exciting new offer for Baylis since he likes the combination of academics and athletics at Stanford and said he's definitely interested in taking a visit as soon as possible.
That might have to wait a little bit but the 6-foot-5, 225-pound prospect is interested in his new offer.
"I've been talking to them for little bit but I haven't been talking to them for a while," Baylis said. "It's a great school and they've had great football there for a while. There are a lot of great players and when I've talked to the coaching staff they've been really good.
"I'm definitely going to try to get up there as soon as I can. My spring break is when their spring break is so I'm going to try to find a time when I can come visit and talk to some people there."
Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, Colorado State, Duke, Indiana, Michigan and now Stanford have offered Baylis, who finished with 22 catches for 298 yards and five touchdowns in his junior season.
So far, Baylis has visited Colorado and Colorado State. He's expected to see Boise State soon and then during his spring break at the end of March take unofficial visits to Michigan and Oregon.
Now with the Cardinal offer, Baylis has another visit to fit into his schedule.
"I'm pretty excited about it," Baylis said. "It's a great school and it's pretty exciting to have an offer from such a great school."
