Bayless sets up flurry of visits

Sugar Land (Texas) Hightower athlete Martin Bayless is a name not mentioned too often on the recruiting front. The former SoCal standout has some big time offers on the table and is set for a busy January of visits.
Bayless, 6-2, 190 pounds played his junior year in San Diego before transferring out to Hightower for his senior season. He's a big time athlete who could play wide out or safety in college and is getting looks on both sides of the ball right now.

"Most of the schools recruiting me like me as a receiver but Florida and Ohio State have both said they like me as an athlete," Bayless said. "It really doesn't matter to me to be honest, I'll play on either side of the ball, whatever the team wants me to do is fine with me."
Bayless hasn't taken any visits yet but will be a busy man later this month.
"I'll be visiting schools the next four weekends," Bayless said. "I'm going to Northwestern this weekend (Jan. 11), Cal (Jan. 18), Ohio State (Jan. 25) and Washington (Feb. 1). All of those schools have offered and I'm also looking hard at UCLA and Florida who have offered as well.
"Right now, my top five would be Cal, Ohio State, Florida, Northwestern and UCLA but I don't have a leader right now. I'm just going to take all my trips and then I'll have about a week before Signing Day to make my decision."
