Battle returns from Wisconsin

Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage defensive back Dominique Battle made the long trip up to Madison, Wisc., this past weekend for an unofficial visit to the University of Wisconsin. He came away impressed with the Badgers program.
"I really enjoyed my visit," he said. "I got the chance to see a great team practice and also get to know the Badger coaches. I met with the head coach (Bret Bielema, the defensive coordinator and my recruiter, coach Dave Doeren and the defensive backs coach.

"Coach Bielema really cares about his players and puts academics before football."
The Badger coaches were very positive with the feedback they gave to Battle.
"They really liked my size," he said. "They said I have good size for a cornerback and they noticed I have good academics. They told me to keep my grades up."
Wisconsin continues to evaluate the South Florida cornerback.
"Coach Doeren is going to come down for the spring and see me practice," he said. "They didn't offer me they are evaluating my film and waiting to see me in the spring."
Battle will continue to make unofficial visits. He is heading to favorite Georgia Tech and Virginia this weekend.
"I'm excited to make the two trips," he said.
The University of Miami also invited Battle to its spring game on April 7.
