Baton Rouge OL gaining experience

GEISMAR, La. - Baton Rouge (La.) Parkview Baptist offensive lineman Jordan Free has had experience all along the line and that will continue during his senior season.
Free, the 6-foot-2, 263-pounder, says that he'll be making the move from offensive tackle to center on his Parkview Baptist team during the 2007 season. Along with recruiting, Free has been plenty busy looking over letters and learning a new spot.

"I'm just working on getting the snap down and things like that," Free said. "I play mostly offensive tackle last season, but they want to move me to center. The biggest thing now is coming off the ball in a good stance and having the responsibility of snapping the ball.
"Those are the biggest challenges."
Free says that as for recruiting, schools such as LSU, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Tulane, and Louisiana Tech have sending mail. He has yet to receive his first scholarship offer yet, but one school has the early edge.
"LSU is my favorite, definitely," Free said. "It's the team I watched when I was little and that's where my heart has always been at."
While he waits for that first offer to arrive, Free says that he's probably going to be visiting Louisiana Tech. His only other unofficial visit he mentioned so far has been to the LSU spring game.
"That was a good time," he said about visiting the Tigers. "I liked that."
