Baton Rouge CB gets his offers

Baton Rouge (La.) Capitol cornerback Anthony Wells has gone from sleeper status to discovered in the last few months. The 5-foot-10, 173-pound defensive back has collected his first two offers and on the look for some more to come his way.
Louisiana Tech and Southern University jumped on board with Wells, but the two-star prospect admits he'd like to hear from some more SEC teams.

"I'm looking to hear from more SEC teams like Auburn," Wells said. "I mean I get mail and stuff, but I know that Auburn stopped sending mail after they got their cornerback. So I guess they're kind of off the list."
Wells also has a favorite school that hasn't offered.
"Alabama is the favorite," Wells said. "I heard from them earlier in the year and I still get some mail and stuff. I also like Louisiana Tech since they offered. They've got a good coaching staff and I like the way they are when they talk to me."
No visits have been set up as Wells is still looking at all the options around him. However, his senior season has no come to an end with a playoff loss which has given him some more time to look over those visits.
"We lost in the first round," he said. We're out of it now. I thought with everything that has happened over the last several months, we had a good season."
Wells is rated as the No. 36 overall prospect in Louisiana.
