Bass keeps loading up

Defensive end Ben Bass is one of the better two-way players in the state of Texas who shares time at both offensive tackle and defensive end. Getting recruited for both, the scholarship offers are starting to really mount.
The 6-foot-4, 257-pounder says that scholarship offers have now come from Kansas, Arizona, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Colorado State, and teams like Florida and Oklahoma looking close. Phone calls have also started in the May evaluation period and the race seems to be heating up.

However, favorites are out in the open.
"My top schools are definitely Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU, Oklahoma State, and Texas in that order," Bass said. "A&M is on top because when I went down there and checked out their facilities and their players, I just liked what I saw."
Oklahoma sent a hand written letter to his house that leads him to believe an offer is probably coming some time soon.
"They hand wrote this note that said they really liked me as a player and wanted me to come up to take a visit," Bass said. "I'm going to get up to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State at some point and then I'm going to visit Texas A&M again.
"I'll finish my trips up with Texas at their camp this summer."
There certainly won't be a long delay in his decision.
"I plan to have it done by the end of the summer," Bass said.
