Bass discusses commitment rumors

There was some internet chatter over the last few days that Corona (Calif.) Centennial running back Ryan Bass had ended the recruiting process early and made a commitment to Arizona. Although the Cats are in a good position right now, Bass said he's not ready to make a decision anywhere just yet.
Bass, 5-10, 190 pounds is easily among the top running backs in the West region. He's a two time all-state underclass selection and is hearing from schools all over the country.

As for possibly making an early commitment, Bass said he has heard the rumors but nothing has happened at this time.
"Yeah, I heard that earlier today but I haven't committed anywhere," Bass said. "I am leaning in that direction and Arizona is definitely my top school right now.
"I want to take some unofficial visits first and I'm for sure going to be checking out Arizona sometime. There are a few other schools I like including Cal and San Diego State but to be honest, I haven't really thought a lot about making a commitment and really don't have a time line when I want to get it done.
"It could be over the summer or when school starts, I really don't know. I'm just going to play things out and maybe after taking some visits, I'll have a better idea of what I want to do."
