Bartow DE is drawing a crowd

Before this spring very few recruiting fans knew of Bartow (Fla.) defensive end Alex Boston. The same couldn’t be said for college scouts. Coaches from across the country knew exactly who he was, and they scheduled time to drop by his school for a closer look.
“Coaches from Iowa, Miami, Florida State, Louisiana State and Connecticut were by my school last week,” Boston said. “Ohio State will be here this week. I haven’t been practicing football this spring because of baseball. Coaches from both Florida State and Miami were watching me during baseball practice though.”

Did Boston impress the scouts enough to earn any scholarship offers?
“All of the schools that have been by so far told me that as soon as I get my test score that there will be an offer waiting for me,” Boston said. “I’m scheduled to take the SAT this June. All of this attention is crazy. I say to myself what is this.”
Boston told FlaRecruiting.com that getting along with a coaching staff will be of the main factors on where he’ll attend college. He grew up a fan of Florida State, and his family would like him to attend school in Tallahassee. However, Boston made it perfectly clear that he’s keeping his options open.
This summer Boston plans on attending football camps at Florida State and Miami. He might also camp at an out state school.
