Barrow commits to Ohio State

Earlier today defensive lineman Alex Barrow said his official visit to Ohio State went very well, but he had not made a decision on his college. That is no longer the case. Barrow talked to the Buckeyes again tonight and committed to Ohio State.
"It felt right," Barrow said. "I decided I'd go ahead and make my decision."

Barrow made official visits to Ohio State, Maryland, and Pitt, and had trips scheduled to Michigan State Jan. 16 and Northwestern Jan. 23, before selecting the Buckeyes.
The 6-foot-4 and 250 pounder from Dublin (Ohio) Coffman registered 14 sacks during his senior season as Coffman won 10 of 13 games. Barrow is the Rivals.com number 47 defensive tackle prospect with a three star rating.
Sources have indicated the Buckeyes have also landed defensive end Vernon Gholston from Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech, though Gholston has not been available for comment.
