Barrett knows of a few visits

Things would be going just fine for Dayton Beach (Fla.) Mainland offensive guard Cruz Barrett with a good season underway and a great recruiting process still picking up. However, the cancellation of schools due to the danger of Hurricane Wilma has put things on hold for the three-star guard.
Barrett and his family were not planning on going anywhere with the storm hitting during the morning hours. Right now, he's just going to wait it out and see what happens from there.

"I'm probably just going to go to my friend's house," Barrett said. "I guess we're in the way of it, but I've been through this before – several times."
Aside from major storms, Barrett is starting to think about where he'd like to take his official visits. He spoke with his high school coach, John Maronto, and we'll make a decision on that pretty soon.
"He told me I've got to figure out where I want to go before we set stuff up," Barrett said. "I told him I definitely want to visit West Virginia and I definitely want to visit Nebraska. Those are the main ones for out-of-state schools."
"Florida and Florida State are the ones I'm looking to take as for in-state trips."
Florida is the only one of those teams that have yet to offer, but things are looking good for Barrett.
"I talk to the coaches there and they say they like me," Barrett said. "They want me to take a visit. Then we'll see how things go from there."
One thing he was planning on doing was making a decision soon. However, he would like to explore his options with visits and then announce his college destination after that.
