Barrett checking out games

Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland offensive guard Cruz Barrett, like many prospects, has had his phone ringing off the hook since college coaches could start calling earlier this month.
"I have gotten a lot of calls, but my cell phone is messed up so a lot of schools probably have been trying to call and can't get me," Barrett said. "Florida State, West Virginia, Florida, Oklahoma, Florida Atlantic and Penn State are the schools that I have talked to already."

The 6-foot-4, 314-pound Barrett attended the NIKE camp in Tallahassee where he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.41 seconds, the shuttle in 5.25 seconds and posted a 23-inch vertical jump.
"I have been to the Florida State-Miami game and the Florida-Tennessee game already this year," Barrett said. "The game this weekend was a lot of fun. We had to leave early so I didn't really get to talk to any of the coaches, but the atmosphere was crazy. The Florida State-Miami game was nuts too. I got to talk to the coaches and go in the locker room after the game and all."
Barrett is ranked as the No. 60 player in Florida and the No. 27 offensive guard in the nation by Rivals.com.
Cruz BarrettClick "I am not going to any games this weekend," Barrett said. "Tony Wilson wants me to go with him to check out a Georgia game and I know that I am going to go to the Florida-Florida state game later this year. I'm not in a hurry to make a decision. I haven't really narrowed it down too much yet. I just sent some more tape off to some of the schools that I still want to get offers from."Here to view this Link.
