Barnett talks FSU, UF offers

It's been a busy summer for 2015 Ridgeville (S.C.) Woodland defensive end Michael Barnett, with trips to Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Virginia Tech and N.C. State already in the books.
Barnett has been so impressive that he's earned an offer at each spot, with the latest being courtesy of the Gators and the Seminoles.

"I went to Florida and camped there and I really liked it," Barnett said. "I met the coaches and stuff and they liked how I did and they offered me afterwards."
It was Barnett's first trip to Gainesville but it likely won't be his last.
"I really like the vibe I got there," he said. "The facilities were nice and I enjoyed talking to the coaches."
On his trip to Tallahassee Barnett didn't camp, but his 6-foot-7, 239-pound frame was enough to impress the Seminoles staff.
"I got a chance to go around and see the campus and stuff," he said. "I talked to [running backs] Coach [Jay] Graham over the phone beforehand and he offered me and when I got there they were talking to me about what they want me to play."
Some schools see Barnett as an offensive linemen but he said Florida State likes him on defense.
"They see me fitting in as a defensive end that comes off the edge and creates disruption," he said.
Next up for Barnett is a trip to Auburn for camp on July 20. He said despite all the recent interest, he's trying to keep a level head.
"It's been pretty fun learning new things and meeting new coaches," he said. "It's a big experience and I just have to grasp it and stay focused and not get big-headed."
