Barfield to announce on Rivals Radio
Garden City (Kan,.) Garden City C.C. three-star junior college defensive tackle Shukree Barfield is set to sign his national letter of intent on Wednesday with his school of choice. However, before he does that he'll announce to the nation his college choice on Rivals Radio.
Barfield, the No. 36 junior college player in the nation, will announce his decision at 9:45 a.m. est Wednesday morning on Rivals Radio. Rivals Radio is broadcast in Sirius Satellite Radio channel 123 or fans can listen on RivalsRadio.com.

"It's an exciting opportunity for me," Barfield, who is 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, said. "I can't wait to get it over with and let everybody know where I'm going."
Barfield took official hasn't tipped his hand in public at all.
He's taken official visits to Kentucky, Nebraska, South Florida and Louisville. Most observers believe it's a battle between Louisville and Nebraska for his services. He's currently back home in Camden, N.J., talking over his final decision with friends and family.
It could potentially be a big day for Nebraska on Wednesday as earlier in the morning at 7:30 a.m. est four-star juco linebacker Larry Asante of Coffeyville (Kan.) Coffeyville C.C. will announce his decision between Nebraska, Clemson and Kansas State.
Both players would bolster the Nebraska class, but Barfield did say after his Louisville visit that he'd have a hard time turning down the Cards.
