Banks patient with process

Aaron Banks had a tremendous summer.
The 2017 four-star offensive tackle landed a bunch of offers after taking some visits and working out at camps.

The El Cerrito, Calif., standout still does not have an idea on frontrunners but he's thrilled with his showings in the last few months and plans to take his time through his junior season.
"I'm really happy and excited," Banks said. "It was really good. It was just great. It was a fun experience going to those places and getting the offers."
So far, the 6-foot-7, 305-pound four-star prospect has been offered by Arizona State, California, Oregon State, Sacramento State, UCLA, USC and Washington.
Things have happened quickly so Banks is not ready for a favorite.
"I couldn't say right now," Banks said. "I really couldn't."
As for the coming months, the El Cerrito standout is planning at least one big unofficial visit or maybe a couple to see some college games.
Banks, rated as the eighth-best offensive tackle and the No. 77 prospect in the 2017 class by Rivals.com, is not sure yet but by midseason he could have some teams that stand out more than the others.
"I think I might take maybe one or two visits during my junior year but to what schools I don't know yet," Banks said. "I was talking to my head coach and we'll figure it out.
"Probably after those visits or sometime around the middle of the season I could have some favorites."
