Banks names top four

Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass offensive guard Braxton Banks is getting a lot of interest from schools across the country. Currently the 6-foot-2, 305-pounder has four schools that are standing out for his services.
"I'm probably favoring Georgia, Miami, Boston College and Georgia Tech the most," he said. "I'm hearing from Clemson, North Carolina State, South Carolina and a few others as well.

"I think those four schools stand out because of the environment they provide and the majority of them are relatively close to home. I visited Georgia this spring for junior day and they really caught my eye. I got to talk with the coaches including coach Garner who is a really cool guy. I particularly enjoyed the family environment.
"As for Georgia Tech, I grew up a fan of them and have worked out with Reggie Ball. I like the fact that they are right at home and you can't get any closer. Finally, Miami is a real nice team that sends a lot of letters. I went to their junior day too and met with coach Coker. It was a really nice visit."
With a wide variety of schools showing interest, what is Banks looking for out of a school?
"I just am looking to get a free education. That's the big thing for me," he said. "Besides that, I'd like to feel at home. Distance doesn't matter though as I could get away or stay nearby."
Banks is considering attending camps at Georgia and Boston College this summer.
