Bama WR draws first offer
Prichard (Ala.) Blount wide receiver Aubrey Bell has been one of the less talked about players in Alabama, but he has athletic ability that isn’t matched by many.
“I got my first offer from Louisville,” Blount said. “I feel like Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State and West Virginia could all be close to offering. They have all been recruiting me pretty hard lately.”

The 6-foot-2.5, 205-pound Bell runs the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds, has a 4.44 second shuttle time and a 29-inch vertical jump.
“My favorites right now are Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Kentucky and Louisville,” Bell said. “I don’t really have a favorite right now, but if one or both of the in-state schools were to offer it would probably be pretty tough to beat them.”
Bell boasts a 245-pound bench press, 315-pound squat and can do 12 reps of 185 pounds on the bench press.
“I don’t want to go too far from home, I would like to stay in the South if possible,” Bell said. “I want to have a chance to be able to compete for national championships wherever I go and also a chance to compete for playing time.”
Bell is also a standout on the basketball court where he averaged 10 points per game as a junior and helped lead his team to the regional finals.
“I really want to take all of my visits and make a decision sometime after my senior season,” Bell said. “If I could I would like to stay in state and play, but I don’t mind leaving if there is a better opportunity outside of the state. Louisville is a great school and they have already offered so you definitely have to look at a school like that.”
