Bama sleeper has eyes on SEC

Tuskegee (Ala.) Booker T. Washington athlete Marquez Hall just finished a banner senior campaign and now is looking to get his recruiting under way.
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound speedster has an offer on the table from Vanderbilt and likes the Commodores a great deal. He visited Nashville unofficially for Vandy's 34-17 loss to Georgia on Oct. 15 and will make his official visit the weekend of Dec. 9.

Commodores wide receivers coach Charlie Fisher is recruiting Hall for Vanderbilt.
"Vandy offered me back in August," he said. "I talk with coach Fisher every week. It was a nice atmosphere (for the Georgia game)."
Vanderbilt is recruiting Hall as a cornerback/kick returner. Playing running back and cornerback for his high school team this year, he finished with 954 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns this season and had one interception and 50 tackles on defense. He didn't have gaudy stats on special teams because opposing squads often kicked away from him.
Jacksonville State, Alcorn State and Tuskegee also have inquired about Hall.
