Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow defensive lineman Daryle Ballew is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the Queen City.
The 6-foot-3 and 285-pound Ballew transferred to Withrow from Walnut Hills after his sophomore year. Ballew made 40 tackles and was a second team all-conference selection his junior season.

"I get mail from Minnesota, Michigan State, Illinois, Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin, Ball State, Ohio, Florida, Kent State, Connecticut, there's a lot of them," Ballew said.
When asked which schools he is interested in, Ballew said, "Florida, Miami of Florida, Minnesota, Michigan State, Illinois, Penn State, Wisconsin, those are some of them."
Ballew has visited a number of the schools on his list.
"I've been to Illinois, Ball State, Michigan State, Cincinnati, and Northwestern," he said. "I have offers from Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan State, West Virginia, Kent, Ohio, Miami of Ohio, they all offered. Michigan State, Ohio, and Illinois offered in writing. The rest were verbal."
