Ball to camp with local school

Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton wide receiver Elijah Ball has several schools under strong consideration, but an upcoming camp with his hometown program could prove important.
"I will be going to UC's camp coming up pretty soon," Ball said. "I love the school -- It would be a perfect fit. They just want me to really work with the coaches and get a good feel for them while they get a good feel for me. It is a real big visit for me. I have been considering UC a lot."

Cincinnati is one of a handful of schools that have offered and sit atop Ball's interest list.
"Out of those that have offered me, I would say Western Michigan, UConn and UC would be real strong contenders," Ball said. "I have still been in contact with other schools like Kentucky, Northwestern and Wake Forest as well."
Another school that has not offered, but is showing interest is Louisville. Ball camped with the Cardinals last month.
"They liked what they saw and they are talking about an offer, but more than likely they want to see a few more games this year before they offer," Ball said.
There is not set timetable on when he will make a final decision, but the upcoming Cincinnati camp could affect Ball's schedule.
"I hope to wrap it up before me senior year, but it could go into the season as well," he said. "I am really not set on it, so I am trying to enjoy this time while I can."
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound Ball holds eight offers thus far in the recruiting process. He is ranked as the No. 38 player in Ohio for the 2015 class.
