Baker still playing waiting game

We thought for sure Los Angeles (Calif.) Jordan defensive back Antwoine Baker would have made his college choice by now. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that Baker was on the verge of committing to Mississippi State but the athlete said he wants to take one more visit before deciding.
Baker, 6-1, 170 pounds took his official visit to MSU (Nov. 17) and told us he would likely commit on the visit. That didn't happen but Baker said it was because he wanted his parents to meet the coaches and he would commit during a home visit the following week. Well, that didn't happen either.

"I'm going to visit Nevada in a few weeks and then I'll decide," Baker said. "Mississippi State is still up there and I'm still hearing from them, but I just want to take another visit to have something to compare them with. I loved my visit there but that was the only visit I've taken.
"I don't have a date set with Nevada but it will probably be in the next two weeks. Those are really the only two schools I'm looking at. I plan on making my decision after I get back from Nevada."
Baker is an elite defensive back who could play corner or safety in college. He has been a bit under-recruited this past season but should be a steal for someone.
