Baker setting visits

One of the top defensive back recruits in the West region this year is Los Angeles (Calif.) Jordan athlete Antwoine Baker. Baker has set up his first two visits and has a small group of schools he's considering right now.
Baker, 6-0, 170 pounds plays cornerback at the high school level but has the ability to move to safety at the next level. Jordan lost their season opener last weekend to Los Angeles (Calif.) Locke but Baker had a very good game.

"Antwoine had a five star performance," Jordan coach Elijah Asante said. "He had nine tackles, broke up two passes, caused a fumble and locked down their top receiver all game. He also blocked a PAT and had a 40 yard touchdown reception at receiver."
On the recruiting front, Baker still has the same four offers he has had for some time now- Washington, Nebraska, Mississippi State and Arizona State.
" He's visiting Washington but I don't remember the date, I'm looking in to that," Asante said. "He's going to Nebraska (Oct 20) when they play Texas and I'll be going on that one with him. Antwoine loves Mississippi State too and will visit there and UCLA and Cal are recruiting him and he's interested in both schools as well.
"Those are really the main schools he's looking at right now. He'll take all his trips and then be ready to make his decision later in the year. We have a brutal schedule coming up where we play Dorsey, Edison and Esperanza so we really have our work cut out for us in the next month."
