Baker holds strong at three
Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White running back Eric Baker holds three scholarship offers early in the process and is getting handwritten mail that leads him to believe more may be on their way.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound runner has offers in hand from Illinois, Louisville, and Kentucky. That is all for now, but Florida is one school that seems to be coming on strong.

"I think they're supposed to offer," Baker said. "I get all the handwritten letters from them and they're writing me stuff that sounds like an offer. I don't know about any other offers to my knowledge, but maybe they're coming."
Baker says he has no certain favorites at this time and he's open to everybody.
"I'm interested in all the schools," Baker said. "Most likely I'll make a late decision."
As Baker gets ready for his first trip coming up, he's going to start looking for certain things before narrowing down his list.
"I'm going to the Miami spring game this Saturday," Baker said. "When I take my trips I'm just looking for excellent academics and just how good the schools it. Do they have an excellent past tradition? I just want good football."
Baker was a second-team all-state member as a junior. He rushed for 1,703 yards and 16 touchdowns that season.
