Baker committed, but not done

DALLAS -- In early June, three-star Deandre Baker became the 10th commitment of the Georgia Bulldogs 2015 recruiting class. For Baker, the decision was an easy one to make.
"Georgia, that's been my favorite school since I was small," Baker said. "I went up there, I showed out, and they gave me the offer."

With an offer in hand, the 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback wasted little time deciding to make his decision.
"It didn't take me a long time," Baker said. "Just a couple of minutes."
Growing up, the Miami (Fla.) Northwestern standout watched the likes of A.J. Green make play after play in the Georgia uniform and now he hopes to add his own chapter to the Bulldog tradition.
Baker chose Georgia over offers from the likes of Tennessee, Clemson, and Kentucky, and became the second defensive back in the class.
He does admit he is still leaving the door open right now, and he plans to take his visits. He does not have any visits on the schedule at this point.
Baker is currently in Dallas, Texas competing at the Prime 21 Camp with Miami (Fla.) Northwestern teammate Khalid McGee.
