Baker cancels official, adds offers

Three-star running back Eric Baker had an official scheduled to Illinois for last weekend, but the Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White prospect couldn't make it. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder is looking into working on another trip to Champaign along with a couple other schools.
"I had to cancel the trip to Illinois, it didn't work out," he said. "I just stayed at home this weekend. I am planning to reschedule it later on towards the end of the season though.

"I am also looking at taking a visit to Georgia sometime. I don't really know when, but they did offer recently in the last week or so. I am very interested in them and have checked out their backfield. I think they have three juniors so it looks like I could make a big impact there."
Baker added another big offer over the last couple weeks.
"I also got one from Clemson last week," he said. "I like them because they like to use their running backs a lot. They play freshman and I like that. I'm probably looking at taking a visit there sometime soon too."
Currently the No. 32 running back in the country has approximately four schools leading for his services.
"Really the schools I'm looking at are Clemson, Georgia, West Virginia and Florida," he said. "Florida is the only one that hasn't offered and they haven't said much about it yet. I like these programs because of how they do things and are solid teams."
Baker has helped Ed White to a 3-1 start.
"Our team is doing pretty good although we lost our last game 20-13," he said. "On the season, I've run for 736 yards and 10 touchdowns. I'm pretty happy with my play. I'm basically trying to help the team win and I want to continue to improve on my cuts, vision and more."
