Bolingbrook (Ill.) four-star defensive tackle prospect Ryan Bain (6-foot-2, 260 pounds) is off to an impressive 7-0 record this winter as one of the state's top heavyweight wrestlers, and Bain has also been wrestling with his final college choice as well.

“Wrestling has been going pretty well so far," Bain said. “I won the heavyweight title at the Stagg Invitational over the weekend and I'm currently 7-0."
Bain talked his various in home college coach visits from last week.
"I had coaches in home from Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin and Iowa in that order last week. Michigan State is scheduled to be here this week. It's really nice that the coaches want to make an in home visit, it really is. Some of the coaches stay for an hour or so and a few others stay even longer. You can tell that these guys are tired sometimes, and it also can get sort of long after awhile. These visits really haven't helped sway me towards any school, but they have been informative for myself and my family."
Bain will make his official visit to Minnesota this weekend his last official visit.
"I'm not going to take a fifth official visit. I'm pretty set on the schools that I've already checked out, and I'll make final final decision between those four schools. I'll announce my final college choice at the All American Bowl in January."
