“I'm calling Coach (Mark) Hagen tonight and setting an official visit this weekend to Purdue," Ryan Bain said. “Friday night we're playing Andrew for the SICA Gray conference title in Tinley Park, and we'll be leaving right after that game to Purdue for the weekend."
Bain talked about why he'll take an official visit this weekend to Purdue.
"I've really only seen Purdue once in person, so I want to check out the school in person as well as being able to see Purdue on game day. I really like the coaches at Purdue, and the team has been playing really well this year. Purdue is pretty high on my list right now and I'm looking forward to taking my official visit there this weekend."
Has the fact that Bain's former Raiders teammate Kyle Williams recently gave the Boilermakers a verbal have any influence in Bain's decision to make an official visit?
"I haven't talked to Kyle at all about his verbal to Purdue. I really haven't talked to Kyle much at all lately. I'm happy for him if that's what he wants, but it has absolutely nothing to do with my decision to make an official visit to Purdue this weekend."
"I'm just trying to look at all of my options, and I also want to make the best decision for myself. Purdue has a lot to offer, and I'm excited about our big game on Friday night as well as making an official visit to Purdue this weekend."
