“My official to Wisconsin was good, really good," Bain said. “The entire weekend was really busy and I always had a lot to do. I was able to get a really good feeling for the Wisconsin football program as well as getting a much better feeling for the coaches and the players."
Bain talked about his official visit to Madison.
"I drove up to Madison on Friday night, then we checked into the hotel. I then had dinner with the players and several of the coaches. Afterwards I went out to a movie with my player host, who was Andy Crooks. He's a freshman inside linebacker and we got along really well. After the movie we were able to hang out with the players on Friday night and Saturday night."
"Saturday morning we got up and had breakfast, then after breakfast we went on a campus tour as well as having a meeting with the academic people at Wisconsin. The campus is really nice, and I also like the lake and the surroundings are just great at Wisconsin. Then we had lunch and then we went to the game against Minnesota. I did a little bit of pre-game stuff, but I really prefer to sit in the stands instead and watch all that is going on. I really enjoyed the fans, they are just crazy and they really support the team, they were a lot of fun."
"Saturday after the game I was able to hang out in the locker room and talk with the players. Saturday night I had dinner at Coach (Rob) Ianello's house, and that was a great dinner with his family. The food all weekend was really good. After dinner I was able to hang out with the players again, and I really got along with the guys on the team. Sunday we had breakfast and we we're able to talk with the coaches at length, and I also had a really long talk and visit with Coach (Barry) Alvarez."
Bain will now look ahead to his next visit to Minnesota this coming weekend.
"I'm headed to Minnesota this weekend, then to Iowa on December 10th. I might take a fifth visit but I haven't set up anything just yet."
