Bain still looking at four schools
Bolingbrook (Ill.) four-star defensive tackle prospect Ryan Bain (6-foot-2, 260 pounds) has been very busy on the wrestling mat this holiday season. Bain just wrapped up the heavyweight crown at the Dvorek tournament and is currently 14-0 this season. Bain is also ranked in most circles as the top heavyweight wrestler in Illinois this winter.

"I was able to win the heavyweight division at the Dvorek tournament," Bain said. "It's a really big tournament and I went against some really good wrestlers. The top ranking is nice I guess, but last year I beat the number one ranked kid and I wasn't even ranked back then. The ranking is nice but it doesn't really matter unless I win a state title."
Bain is also wrestling with his final college choice.
"I'm still considering Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin, and I'm still giving my choice a lot of thought. I was planning to make my final college choice at the All American Bowl game, but I'm going to take my time in making my decision and I'm not going to rush it. If I'm solid on my final college choice by then, I'll announce it at the game, but I'm also not going to pressure myself to decide by then either."
Bain is also excited about playing in the All American Bowl.
"I haven't really trained for the bowl game at all because I'm in the middle of my wrestling season. I'm excited about playing in the game and getting a chance to play against the other kids from around the country."
