“I'll have four coaches that will make in-house visits this week," Bain said. “Minnesota will be in on Monday, Purdue on Tuesday, Wisconsin on Wednesday and Iowa will be here on Thursday."
Bain talked about the impact that the in-house visits might have this week.
"I personally don't feel that I'll be swayed at all with the in-home visits. I really appreciate the coaches that are coming out this week, but for me it's more of a chance to ask the coaches some questions as well as a chance for my parents to ask them some questions as well."
"At this point in the recruiting process I'm just looking for the best fit for me in a school. My main factors are a comfort and a good feeling for each school, as well as what kind of opportunities both athletically and academically each schools has to offer. I know from an academic support standpoint each school offers solid support for it's athletes. I'm also hoping to get a chance to play at the next level, and it's important that I go to a school that can help me achieve that goal."
Bain also opened his wrestling season on Wednesday of last week.
"I wrestled again Mike Shaub from Lockport, and I was able to beat him 3-1. Mike's a great wrestler and I think we both had some first match jitters. He almost had me early in the match, but I was able to pull out the win. I'm sure we'll run into each other again down the road."
Bain is still expected to make his final college choice known at the US Army All American Bowl game in early January.
