“It basically rained the entire game on Friday," Ryan Bain said. “I was just having a hard time getting traction. Our field is brand new, so it wasn't a case of playing in the mud, but I just couldn't get much traction and I feel that I just didn't play very well. At least we got the win, and we have another big game this week at Bradley."
Bain, who will reschedule a planned official visit to Minnesota set for last weekend, is going to try to get his visits lined up soon.
"Minnesota didn't want me to come up last weekend because it was a Saturday night game, and they want me to come up when the coaches and players can spend more time with me, and that's cool. I'm going to try to reschedule that visit soon."
"I wrestle in the winter, so right now we're looking at the wrestling schedule and seeing where I can fit in my visits so that they won't conflict with my wrestling season. I'm still hoping to make all five official visits, but it all depends on how I can fit those in between the end of football season and wrestling season."
Bain insist that he is still open in regards to his favorite schools.
"I've been hearing about how I like this school or that school from other people, and I've also read some things about my favorites. For now I'm still very open, and until I set official visits I'm going to remain open."
