"I liked it a lot," Bain said. "I got to see the campus. I went to the Purdue-Michigan game. It was a good game. I thought Purdue was going to win. They had a tough break. It was a tough loss.
"There wasn't just one thing I liked about the visit, I liked everything."
However Bain is not ready to made a decision on his college.
"My next visit will be either Wisconsin or Minnesota," Bain said. "I'm still looking into that. Nothing is set for sure.
"I'm not sure who else I'll visit. I still need to do some research. Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Kansas State, Louisville, UCLA, I'm still looking at those schools. And I'm still looking at Ohio State, but I'm not sure about them."
The 6-foot-2 and 250 pound Bain, who is averaging over 10 tackles per game this season, has scholarship offers from all of the schools he mentioned except Ohio State. Bain is the No. 7 prospect in the state of Illinois in the Rivals.com player rankings.
