Baileys coach confirms commitment

Rivals100 defensive end prospect Allen Bailey has made his long-awaited college choice. The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder was set to decide on a school in the state of Florida, UF or Miami, and made the call at 1:15 p.m. this afternoon.
"Allen told me this morning that he made his decision about a week ago and it is going to be Miami," McIntosh County Academy head coach Robby Robinson said. "He came to me and told me he had made his mind up.

"He came to my office and called Miami first to give them the news," he said. "And then as soon as he hung up, he called Florida and told them that he wasn't coming."
Though he was set with the Canes, Bailey still wanted to sit on his decision and think things through.
"He wanted to take a full week with no visits and no phone calls and just think about things to make sure of his decision," he said. "He wanted to wait until he was 100 percent before going public. It really came down to him feeling most comfortable at Miami."
The Hurricanes are going to give Bailey a shot at playing the position he played in high school to begin with.
"Miami is definitely going to give him a shot at linebacker," he said.
