One of the top rising junior wide receivers in Ohio received some excellent news recently when he learned that Wisconsin had become the first school to verbally offer him a scholarship.
Rob Wheelwright is a wide receiver you'll want to become familiar with.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound receiver from Columbus (Ohio) Walnut Ridge hasn't made a lot of headlines yet but all that is about to change. Wheelwright camped at Wisconsin recently and obviously turned in a strong performance.
"The offer came a couple of days ago," Wheelwright said on Thursday. "They had showed a little interest but it was more of a surprise than anything.
"I was there for the camp and it was my first time there. It was kind of like an unofficial, too."
What did Wheelwright think of the Big Ten school?
"I got a chance to talk to most of the coaches ... the receivers coach, the head coach, the offensive coordinator and the quarterbacks coach.
"Overall it's a good school. They've got a good program and I like what they're doing," he said.
It's Wheelwright's first offer but it's probably a safe bet that more will come in as other schools get a chance to see him in action.
Cincinnati and Syracuse have already shown significant interest and Wheelwright plans on camping at Michigan State before long.
