Badgers interested in Missouri DT

Farmington, Mo., defensive lineman Harry Peterson has helped his team out on both sides of the ball in his high school career. Now, his play on the field is translating into interest from college coaches.
"We sent out some film of all three of our guys," Farmington assistant Todd McKinney said. "He is getting mail from some schools and he is getting stuff from Wisconsin weekly. He doesn't have any scholarship offers, yet, but the coaches at Wisconsin are very interested in him."

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Peterson earned first-team all-conference honors for his offensive and defensive positions in 2004.
"Harry has been a good player for us," McKinney said. "He has played both defensive tackle and tight end for us. He is probably more of defensive tackle in college, but we will continue to go both ways with him."
McKinney feels the interest in his standout player will increase as more coaches learn about him.
"As we get more film sent out and he plays some more games this fall more schools will begin to show interest," McKinney said. "He is working hard to get ready for this coming season and I think it will pay off for him."
