Badgers add Rivals250 TE Hayden Rucci to their 2019 class

Wisconsin has gotten a great jump on the 2019 class and they just just added to it in the form of Rivals250 tight end Hayden Rucci. The Lititz (Pa.) Warwick star had a length offer sheet to choose from but decided he wanted to be a Badger.

"Wisconsin just felt like home for me," Rucci said. "The coaches, commits, and fans are awesome and it has been great building relationships with people."

RIVALS' REACTION...

Troy Fumagalli was an All-Big Ten first team selection last season and Rucci has the kind of potential to do the same for Wisconsin. Rucci is an impressive athlete and has very few weaknesses in his game. He has great hands and presents mismatch problems for defenses because of his speed but Rucci is a tough, physical, and willing blocker as an end-line tight end. The Wisconsin strength and conditioning program will do wonders for Rucci and should really help take his game to the next level.
