Bacher Has Change of Heart

Northwestern has received a commitment from Carmichael (Calif.) Jesuit quarterback C.J. Bacher. Bacher, 6-2, 175 pounds had committed to Oregon State earlier in the season but took an official visit this past weekend to Northwestern and committed shortly after.
Word began to leak out about Bacher and his commitment early Wednesday. We spoke to Bacher's father later in the day and he wouldn't confirm or deny the rumor but said he will be sending out a press release later today. News broke this morning in the Chicago Sun Times about Bacher's commitment to the Wildcats and we'll be sure to post the press release on the reason for the signal callers change of heart later today.
For Oregon State, they still have four commitments from quarterbacks in this year's class although we feel two of them, Nate Johns and Stadford Brown will be used as athletes. Brian Hildebrand and Michael Perri are both quality signal callers who more than make up for the loss of Bacher.
