Other schools showing interest are Cal, Stanford, UCLA, Arizona, ASU, Oregon and Duke.
Bacher would love to see a UCLA and Stanford offer.
There is no secret why Bacher’s stock is becoming such a hot commodity he has a perfect 31-0 record as the starting quarterback for Jesuit.
Coaches like players who know how to win. Former Colorado head coach Bill McCartney built his CU program with players from winning programs.
Another reason Bacher is getting a lot play is he rates with the best quarterbacks to ever suit up for Jesuit. Three Jesuit quarterbacks have made it to the show. They are Ken O’Brien (NY Jets), Gio Carmazzi (SF 49ers) and J.T. O’Sullivan (NO Saints).
In three seasons, Bacher has thrown for 4,462 yards and 46 touchdowns. He has also rushed for five more touchdowns.
When the pressure is on most, Bacher is at his best. During Jesuit’s playoff run he completed passes at a 70% clip while passing for 557 yards and four touchdowns.
Bacher fits the bill of the modern day quarterback who can hurt you both with his arm and his feet. He is also very intelligent a prerequisite for success on the D-I level. Bacher has a 4.5 GPA, 31 ACT and 1290 SAT.
