Baccellia set with decision

Andre Baccellia committed to Washington in early August before he could see the new coaching staff in action.
The three-star wide receiver from Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake saw what coach Chris Petersen and his staff did at Boise State and he decided that was enough. Baccellia does not regret his decision one bit.

The Westlake standout said recently he loves the direction of Washington's program and his recruitment is basically done.
"What really stood out to them was my speed," Baccellia said. "They noticed my character and my leadership on and off the field, my school work and everything like that. Just how I got in and out of my cuts, they really liked it, and they just liked me as a player and a person completely."
Washington likes him and vice versa. The three-star has been impressed with the Huskies' play this season and he cannot wait to be a part of it.
Baccellia, who could also be used on special teams, likes the new coaching staff and he's already developing strong relationships with them.
"My impressions are they're doing really well," Baccellia said.
"They won a majority of their games against really good Pac-12 teams. Coach (Chris) Petersen and coach (Brent) Pease I already started a really good relationship with them and it's just starting to grow more and more and everything is going great with them."
No other official visits are planned. A trip to Washington is expected within the next few weeks and that wraps it up for Baccellia in his recruitment.
"That's it," Baccellia said. "I'm only visiting Washington."
