Babb is the real deal

Three-star wide receiver Zion Babb (6-2, 185, 4.4) from Alhambra, Calif., has all the right stuff that makes a successful wide receiver. There are some who think that Babb could be the best wide receiver in California.
Babb has the size you like to see in today's wide receivers. He is also very physical and athletic as his 36-inch vertical would indicate. He is very smooth and polished receiver who has great speed.

It is obvious that he has received excellent coaching. He has a great release and tremendous burst off the line.
Babb was a first-team all-league selection as a wide receiver after catching 54 passes for 919 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was a second team all-league performer as a defensive back.
So far Babb has offers on the table from Michigan, Arizona, Cal, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Nebraska and UNLV.
"I don't have any favorite schools right now," Babb said. "I am very open."
"I will start breaking down my visits sometime during the season," Babb said. "I'm planning to take some visits during the season and some after the season.
What is Babb looking for in a school?
"I'm looking for a school with string academics," Babb said. "The school's environment or the football program doesn't really matter.
"I want to a school where I feel comfortable with the coaches, teachers and the student-body."
Whoever lands Babb will also be getting a tremendous track athlete and he's going to participate in that sport as well.
Babb runs the 110-HH and took first in the CIF Division I and was winning the state meet as a junior until he hit the fifth or the sixth hurdle and he lost his focus.
Remember Babb is only a junior and he will be able to get back in the race next spring.
