B2G notes: Longs leaders

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - The B2G Elite Camp registration saw a lot of top prospects come through and there was plenty of recruiting news. Here is the latest:
Long has top 10

Duke, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington and Wisconsin made the top 10 cut for four-star David Long and some important visits are coming up.
The Los Angeles Loyola cornerback is planning trips to Notre Dame and Stanford and the latter could be especially crucial since it's believed the Cardinal definitely stand out at this point.
Long, who has looked great at corner this spring but could also move to receiver, could also take trips soon to USC and UCLA and the four-star said he remains open to all 10 programs. A commitment is probably not around the corner, but Long said he won't wait until National Signing Day, either.
Young has two favorites
In recent months, Keyshawn Young has had a top four of Alabama, LSU, Miami and USC but the Miami (Fla.) Miami Senior wide receiver has narrowed his favorites to the Crimson Tide and Trojans.
The three-star prospect said he has developed an outstanding relationship with Alabama assistant coach Mario Cristobal and he always looked up to former 'Bama receiver Amari Cooper, so those could be two major factors in his recruitment.
USC is right there as well, though, and Young said spending some time in the Los Angeles area this weekend could be a big boost for the Trojans in the long run.
Fagan favors Florida State
There is absolutely no question Cyrus Fagan favors Florida State in a big way and the 2017 four-star safety admitted he seriously considered a commitment in recent days.
The Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland prospect decided to hold off, but said he plans to make his decision by midway through his junior year. Florida State seems clearly like the team to beat as Fagan talked about liking coach Jimbo Fisher so much and the distance between his house and Tallahassee seems optimal.
Alabama and Miami round out his top three, but it would be surprising at this point if Fagan doesn't pick the Seminoles when he's ready to decide.
Parker being pursued
Jordan Parker
Jordan Parker is committed to UCLA -- he picked the Bruins in late April -- but many others are coming after him and the Pittsburg, Calif., four-star cornerback seems to be keeping an open mind and will listen to other comers.
Parker, who showed up to registration day wearing an Oregon backpack, said the Ducks, California, Arizona State, USC and now Oklahoma are all getting involved.
Just because Parker will listen doesn't mean he's imminently considering a de-commitment or anything drastic, but it's something to watch because he's one of the top cornerbacks in the West.
Holmes high on Stanford
Darnay Holmes recently took an extensive visit to Stanford and absolutely loved it.
The 2017 five-star defensive back from Newbury Park, Calif., raved about the coaching staff, spending some time with the players and, of course, the phenomenal academic and athletic mix. He called Stanford "like an Ivy League school." Holmes is also close with Francis Owusu and his family.
So the Cardinal look strong, but it's also really early for Holmes, who recently took another trip to Nebraska for the spring game and seemed to love it. He's been to Clemson, Ohio State and many other places. Alabama recently offered and UCLA and USC remain right there as well.
Don't discount Holmes' relationship with UCLA defensive backs coach Demetrice Martin. That could go a long way as his recruitment continues.
Stovall lands ND offer
Melquise Stovall committed to USC in April, but that does not mean others will back off.
On Thursday right around registration time, the Lancaster (Calif.) Paraclete four-star landed an offer from Notre Dame and he's planning to take an official visit to South Bend. Miami and Utah are also being considered for trips this fall.
Despite the Notre Dame offer, Stovall still said he remains happily committed to the Trojans, even with taking visits this upcoming season. The four-star said he's also working on four-star defensive backs Lamar Jackson and Parker to join the Trojans' recruiting class.
McKinley has visit coming
Four-star wide receiver Javon McKinley is planning to take another unofficial visit to Notre Dame in the coming weeks as the Irish remain clearly in contention for his commitment.
USC remains in strong contention with the Corona (Calif.) Centennial standout, who recently took another trip to campus and admits he does feel a little pressure to commit because the Trojans are filling up at receiver.
Still, McKinley plans to take official visits to Ohio State, Tennessee and Oregon and said he won't rush a decision until he's sure about his destination.
Pollard's summer decision
CJ Pollard still plans to commit this summer, but first the Gardena (Calif.) Serra prospect is hoping to take a round of visits.
The four-star defensive back wants to see Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon before making his announcement and Pollard said he would love to take all those trips in the coming weeks since he plans to commit at The Opening.
USC is still considered a major frontrunner in his recruitment, but Pollard is not counting any team out, especially if he loves what he sees on those trips.
Davis planning more trips
Wyatt Davis has already taken a bunch of unofficial visits to get a feel for schools that have offered with stops at Alabama, Florida, Miami and the local schools and now the 2017 four-star offensive tackle from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco is planning to get out again.
Davis, who performed well this past weekend at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour in Baltimore, was just offered by Notre Dame on Wednesday and he's starting to seriously consider a trip to South Bend.
The massive lineman raved about fitting in Notre Dame's offense and he's excited about his offer, so getting there on a visit seems to be a priority. Stops at Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri and Oregon State (all those schools have offered as well) seem likely.
Jaggers making rounds
Jimmy Jaggers is loading up on offers and the 2017 tight end is planning another round of trips to USC, UCLA and Stanford.
The Roseville, Calif., prospect is keeping his recruitment open mainly because offers keep pouring in with Arizona State being the latest.
Auburn and BYU have shown preliminary interest and there's no question Jaggers could keep picking up major offers as his junior season approaches.
