B1G schools interested in Posey

Detroit (Mich.) East English Village wide receiver Armani Posey generated plenty of college attention this off-season, but still awaits his first offer.
"I just got a letter from Purdue the other day and they wanted to get to know me, so they invited me out to a game," Posey said. "This is just my second time hearing from them. I don't have any connections down there."

The 6-foot, 188-pound Posey also attended camps at Big Ten programs Michigan State and Penn State this summer, generating interest from the Nittany Lions.
"After the Penn State camp there was some good feedback," Posey said. "They were talking to me about how they are recruiting my area and they like my size because I am bigger than most DBs.
"I talked to Coach (Charles) Huff because he is the recruiting coach in our area. He liked how I can catch the ball away from my body with my hands."
The Big Ten is not the only conference showing interest in Posey, however. An ACC school is recruiting him after his performance at their camp this summer.
"I went down to the Pitt camp. That camp went good for me," Posey said. "They really liked me at receiver, but they are recruiting me as an athlete. They said they are going to come out to some games and stay connected."
Posey is ranked as the No. 59 wide receiver prospect in the 2016 class. He played multiple positions as a sophomore, including quarterback and defensive back, but recorded five touchdowns among his 10 catches while at wide receiver.
