Aztecs land two-way standout

Not all is going bad for the San Diego State Aztecs this season as they picked up the commitment from a talented safety/wide receiver Logan Ketchum (6-3, 195, 4.6) from Oak Park, Calif.
"I committed to San Diego State," Ketchum said. "I liked the location and it is a good school.

"I think that Coach Chuck Long is going to turn the program around and I wanted to be part of that."
"Once I was offered I thought about it for a couple days and then I committed," Ketchum said. "Ever since I took my unofficial visit to San Diego State last spring I knew that San Diego State was the place for me."
The Aztecs get a player who has been instrumental in helping his team to a 9-1 record and the only loss came at the hands of Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian.
On the season, Ketchum has 36 tackles, six interceptions, and two deflected passes.
Ketchum has good bloodlines, his brother Gavin Ketchum is a wide receiver for UCLA.
Washington, Colorado and Duke were also looking hard at Ketchum, but once the Aztecs offered it was a done deal.
As a junior Ketchum was an all-league selection last season after recording 65 tackles, five interceptions and four pass break ups.
