AZ fullback racking up offers

One of the best all around players we've seen this spring is Tucson (Ariz.) Sabino standout Brooks Reed. Reed had a strong showing at the recent NorCal Nike and shows up very well on film at both fullback and defensive end.
Reed, 6-3, 216 pounds is an impressive looking player who shined at the Nike camp at Stanford. He clocked a 4.40 in the shuttle, jumped 34 inches in the vertical and did 25 reps on the bench. His 82.31 SPARQ Rating was in the top 20 in the entire camp. The athlete worked out with the running backs at the camp and we like him best as a college fullback although he'll get looks on the defensive side of the ball as well.

As a junior, Reed rushed for 382 yards and six touchdowns, caught 13 balls for 155 yards and two more scores and totaled 42 tackles and six sacks on defense.
"Recruiting is going well right now," Reed said. "I have offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Purdue, Cal and Colorado State. I've been to Junior Days at Arizona, and UCLA and like both schools along with ASU, BYU, Purdue, Cal and Oregon right now. I think most schools like more more for fullback and that is where I would like to play as well. I'm probably too small for defensive end and I like having the ball in my hands so fullback is good for me."
