Ayoola taking his time

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas running back Dami Ayoola has nearly 20 verbal offers, but so far just one has become official with a school sending it in a written form.
"Boston College is my first written offer," Ayoola said. "I just got that in the mail."

The 5-foot-10, 201-pound back though is willing to wait for more mail, as he is in no rush with regards to his recruitment.
"Right now I haven't narrowed down my list," Ayoola said. "I am not focusing on anybody in particular or singling anyone out. I think I will have a top seven or eight by playoff time. I want to be real patient with this and be real sure that I am doing things right."
Ayoola has stayed in regular contact with a number of programs throughout the summer.
"I have been talking to a lot of schools," Ayoola said. "North Carolina, Notre Dame, Illinois, West Virginia, Boston College, Miami, Alabama, Florida - a lot of schools."
The next move in his recruitment is to figure out some official visits.
"I will probably visit a couple schools during the season, during our bye week, and then I will take the rest of my visits after the season as I plan to take all five of my official visits," Ayoola said. "My visits are definitely in the works. I am looking at schedules and talking with my coaches about when I can take some. I don't have any specific destinations picked out just yet."
The South Florida prospect is in no rush to conclude his recruitment.
"As far as committing, I am in no rush," Ayoola said.
As a junior, Ayoola finished with 750 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns despite missing two games with a high ankle sprain. He also caught three touchdown passes.
