According to Miami (Okla.) Northeastern Oklahoma A&M defensive line coach Chris Howell, the wait continues for the signature of Remi Ayodele. Despite reports that Ayodele has committed to Colorado, Howell said the final decision hasn’t been made.
“I just talked to Remi about 20 minutes ago,” Howell said. “He just left for home back in Dallas. He’s going to go down there and talk with his parents about the recruiting process and all the schools on his list.
“He’s then expected to come back on Monday and make a final decision. We’ll probably sit down then and call all the coaches and let them know what we’re doing.”
So what about him committing to Colorado?
“If he’s done that, then he sure didn’t tell any of us a few minutes ago,” Howell said. “I think there is no question that Colorado is one of his top schools, and he’s probably going to pick between them and Oklahoma. Oklahoma State is also right there, too.”
