According to Miami (Okla.) Northeastern Oklahoma A&M coach Dale Patterson you can expect a final decision in the battle to land Remi Ayodele shortly – maybe even as soon as today.
“He got back from Oklahoma late last night,” Patterson said. “I’ve not had a chance to sit down and talk with him about what his final decision is, but the impression that I got was that they wouldn’t bring him in this weekend and not offer him a scholarship. So we believe he now has to make a decision.”
And it looks like that decision could come as soon as today, as coaches from Oklahoma State, Colorado and probably even Oklahoma are due in the school to make one last minute recruiting push.
“He’s definitely leaning toward playing in the Big 12,” Patterson said. “I would have said it was either going to be Colorado or Oklahoma State before he visited Oklahoma this weekend. We’ll just have to see how this plays out, but we could know something later today or some time soon this week.”
Ayodele is a four-star junior college defensive tackle. He is 6-foot-3 and 301 pounds.
